P.A.T.H.S. was established in 1996 with the opening of the new middle school. In August of 1998 the board members of P.A.T.H.S. adopted this mission statement: We are Parents and Teachers Helping Students by encouraging a bond between parents and staff members to create an environment for students that will nurture learning and foster a sense of community at Tuscarawas Valley Middle School. P.A.T.H.S. has had a lot of success over the years. This past school year we have provided mobies and clickers for Smart Boards, pencil sharpeners in every room, supported Peer Leadership Camp, help fund three Trojan Action Day’s, supported Power of the Pen, provided breakfast for OAT testing week, hosted Scholastic book fair, Holiday Shop, and Valentines carnations. P.A.T.H.S. also runs the concession stand at various middle school sporting events with the help of our sport parents. All parents volunteer to make it happen. Our success comes from you, the parents and guardians and teachers of our students who volunteer their time and talents to helping us provide extras for our students. Thank you for all that you do!
